Although, Moek, popped up the day before his commitment announcement. There’s still one spot remaining. Kolton/KDA — starting two proven commodities at this level doesn’t bother me as much at 6’1 when the rest of the lineup is bigger. If we’re attempting another Reef/Hunter/Miles starting combo, I’d be more concerned. Tough to see a starter caliber 2 guard at this stage brought in. Considering AJ Bates was once in the fold before the last minute switch to Utah State, have to think starting KDA as more of a 2 was always part of the plan. But overall I agree. Unless you’re getting meaningful rotation minutes out of a true freshman, it’s almost pointless to recruit HS in this era. I now wonder if we’ll use both or just one of the remaining scholarships and if McKinney’s decommit opens up any additional financial flexibility.
