Good is in the eye of the beholder. Its irrelevant. The question is can he make a living off the music he's making. And the answer is absolutely no way.

Working in the music industry has taught me a lot of things, and if there's one absolutely genre-superseding fact that I have learned is that talent has almost absolutely nothing to do with "making a living" in the music industry.

Common example thrown around Nashville a lot: Taylor Swift would not be a "star" had her dad not pumped approximately $3million into her career at the outset. Trust me, I have come across more musicians with more talent in their pinky finger than Taylor Swift has in her entire body.

I wish I could listen to the tracks to pass judgment, but the site is currently unavailable. I'll have to check the tracks out another time. But all of this is moot, seeing as how anymore, 99% of musicians AREN'T going to be featured on TV, or radio, or ANYTHING of that nature unless they have money to back their career and a damn good manager.

That and if Scott Borchetta kept playing bass on local gigs instead of starting a record label, Taylor Swift might still be playing writers night around town.

Speaking of which, what part of town do you live in? I'm going to guess a condo in the Gulch or something trendy like that.

I think he has served his time and is ready to rejoin "society."

Says page does not exist.

Does anyone remember the BAer who posted some rap songs about the superiority of OHIO basketball in the MAC. This was probably close to a decade ago. It was one of the few rap pieces I've ever liked. If someone still has an MP3 file of it, please post it again. Might think of playing over the Convo PA system.

I would vote "yes" to reinstate Monroe, even realizing that he has placed me in his dog house over the last several years.

That worked. Just listened to it again. The best rap song of all time, IMHO!
