Per school's website, administration wanted Patterson to stick around the rest of 2021 but Patterson decided to step down immediately. In Florida didn't it appear after an interview with players was made public in which said players recounted all kinds of abusive behavior on the part of the coaching staff? As for his players, no, if anything he had the reputation of being way to loyal and forgiving and would go to great lengths to take up for them. He would have fit in much better in the 1970's and 80's when athletes could choke and beat women or worse and it never really get out. And your little source has a long history of doctoring things to support their slant. Remember, you still believe in Sam Shamansky's claims of being drugged, even though he used an unaccredited lab which found enough drug to kill a stable of horses. So yeah, your credibility here is clouded by your personal feelings.
