Marcus Hill for BG is an absolute beast.

Averaging 20 in his first season in the MAC. Had 35 the other night. Has scored more than 25 in like 8 of 12 games.

JUCO transfer. Averaged 25 for South Union or somewhere.

We have touched on it in threads before, but why does it seem like we don’t ever take a chance on anyone in JUCO or D2? Guys that are walking buckets, avg 25+ points a game?

We had a recruit from Findlay two seasons ago, and he really helped the Bobcats.

Big Tommy Schmock fan.

Those are the kind of guys I keep saying we need to take a chance on... IJ has a free scholarship sitting there... lets see who is dropping 25+ in JUCO? Who is averaging 10 rebounds in D2 but maybe a tad undersized or something...? Lets get him in here for a visit.

Freeman is a man amongst boys against Kent. Dude is a beast. Wish we had him.

Same. I was at UIC/Murray State Wednesday. The latter’s big man Nick Ellington is similar. 6’7, just a straight beast. 29 pts and 7 rebounds. JUCO product, go figure.

Kent, down by 20, is making it a game. Down 3 with 1:33 in front of the best MAC crowd of the season. Not a bad crowd in Mt. Pleasant as CMU looks to end UT's 20-game MAC regular season winning streak.

I believe that's Hunter's 3rd game winner this season.

Most clutch player in the country.

Had no D1 offers out of high school despite looking like the best player on a team that had a McDonald's All-American.

Texans (in general) feel that you cannot disrespect them ever. There is no land mark event that made this offensive where something tragic happened. It is actually a penalty in the Big12 if an opposing player gives the sign in football and basketball.

Remember, don't mess with Texas.

Do they know that the league they are joining won't give two craps about some sign language thing? With the serious 5hit the SEC already puts up with?

Texas better just recognize what they are in for...LSU night games a.k.a. drunkfests from hell, 100,000 entitled prick fans in Knoxville, A&M who already hates them, etc etc

Well, according to director of SEC officiating, you'd be wrong. They do seem to care. And just like in the Big12 it can be a penalty.

Already hedging...giving the SEC wiggle room when they screw it up and don't know when to or not to enforce it. Texas will end up butt-hurt and furious over this, the first time it's not called.

Lip service from the SEC and $4 will get Texas a venti largo grande at Starbucks.

No it's not, but it's also a rule on how it is used. Wasn't any difference in the Big12, it was only enforced when directed at players (as it should be).

Has "Sendy" lost the Flashes? Or just a bad stretch of MAC murders row for his guys?

Four straight losses at home. It must be more than a few decades since that has occurred.....

At the half Akron up 11 at home vs Toledo. Zips with hot shooting. On the radio sounded a little chippy at times with several technicals called.

Which team will be alone at the top of the MAC at the end of the game?

It's on ESPN2. Akron up 4 with seven minutes. A few guys already with 4 fouls on both teams, including Freeman.

Regression to the mean?

Zips shot over 60% in the first half.

The Zips were at one point 2 of 16 in the second half before starting to make a few down the stretch to hold off Rockets.

Cleveland is going to be wide open. Yes…Akron is the favorite, but I really think 5-6 teams can legitimately win it.

Central wins at BG.

How is CMU 7-2 and how in the hell did it lose at home to Buffalo?

Surprising at this point in the season?

Troy is 9-2 in their conference, near the top.
YSU is 17-7/9-4
Marshall is a somewhat respectable 7-4 in the Sunbelt

APSU and Davidson are not having a good run of it. Those should have been wins.
