At this point, every game is a must-win and all will be tough, but BG has made life a little easier having lost 6 of the last 8 games. No change between our hypothetical 1st round game, but they play Toledo tomorrow and we have games coming up with Miami and BG. Could be some shuffling in that bottom-tier.
Have to take care of business on the road at Buffalo and NIU to keep breathing easy.
Currently: OU would play (5) BG and (1) Akron (or 8 WMU)
1) Akron 11-1 (2/27) 2) Toledo 11-2 3) CMU 10-3 4) OU 8-5 5) BG 7-6 (3/2) 6) Miami 6-7 (3/8) 7) Kent State 6-7 8) WMU 6-7 Ball State 5-8 NIU 3-10 (2/24) EMU 3-10 Buffalo 2-11 (3/5)

Miami I think has a great chance to finish 5th. Which sets up the potential of back-to-back games against Miami to end regular season and then the quarterfinals game.

I am now rooting for a BG collapse. With Central's easy schedule, I don't see us catching up.
I checked the Chicago alumni chapter's calendar to see if there were any arrangements for getting out to Dekalb. Nothing. Weak.

Agree....CMU has 3rd locked up. Hell...they might finish second if either Akron or Toledo lose a couple down the stretch. I see CMU winning all five to its remaining games.

FL: Since playing OHIO, Miami lookimg like a second half of MAC schedule bottom feeder. What makes you think they can turn it around?

I believe I remember not too long ago we played Miami in the last regular season game (a win) and then in the first MAC tournament game (a loss). Or, was it the other way around?

2018. And it played out just like that. And both games were at Millett.

Thanks. That's what I thought, but I wasn't completely sure I could trust my memory.
Edit: It seems to me that this also happened years ago with another team that we faced at the end of the regular season and then in first game in the tournament. Any idea when that was?

If you were in Chicago, would you want to go to DeKalb?

The rest of the MAC needs to take up a collection and give it to NIU to replace that hideous floor with something that doesn't give people watching on TV headaches.

That's great news if it's true!
And it is. Normal is a good thing! I'm relieved and I only watch one basketball game from that court in a season.

Oh my god, I can see it when I close my eyes. Was that like black wood grain? Reminds me of builder grade house flippers putting in grey flooring.
It was replaced. Its kind of boring now LOL.

I thought the huskie eyes part of it was pretty nice...it was the awful dark gray floor that I despised. To be fair, I personally disliked Oregon's court more than NIU, but NIU was a close #2. Oregon's design with all the trees is too "busy" for me and my simple brain to handle.

Miami just BLASTED CMU.
Their bench scored FIFTY FIVE.
CMU scored 60.
