Why not Dambrot? He's gotten results for a long time. He's not the recruiter that Shaka is, but he's still a good coach. He'd triple his salary potentially with a move to VCU.

Anthony Grant is interesting, as is Capel.

fair or not, VCU fans would not be impressed with a record of 0-3 in the Tournament and 3-7 in the MAC title game.

Dambrot has no chance. They will look to keep it "in house" to some degree. Wade is often mentioned. That said this is a real important hire for VCU. They miss hit and their whole momentum is lost. I'm sure their AD is a popular guy at the Final Four this weekend.
