The transition to Division I hasn't been easy, but not everyone can be FGCU. Louisville down the road, Indiana not too far away, Murray State and Morehead State in the same Commonwealth, Miami and every other MAC school picking players from the area, etc, etc, etc. They are fighting an uphill battle all the time. They won a small battle with the arena they've got though. Long term, with that arena, and how nice a lot of N.Ky and Cincy is, they should be able to compete with or exceed Miami, Murray State, Morehead in recruiting. They're in a pretty good situation to build from.
