I'm watching the EKU-Morehead game on ESPNU after getting home from the General Charles H. Grosvenor Civil War Round Table meeting. (Had to get it that reference to the late Rebellion, since it's been a week or two;-) So, I just saw a foul on Morehead State player. He acted like he hadn't touched the guy and that the official was blind as bat. The replay showed that the MSU player yanked on the shooting arm of the EKU guy and also made significant contact with the other arm as well. The point being that any reputable player in a pickup game would have called a foul on himself with that degree of contact. I personally lose respect for this type of theatrics. If you know you fouled and it's called. Take it like a man. I don't mind guys arguing close calls where it might be a matter of viewpoint or perspective, but I really don't like this who-me-I've-never-fouled-in-my-life attitude. To me it's a matter of sportsmanship. Anybody else agree with me?

Would be nice, but it's just going to happen. Tim Duncan's as sporting a guy as there is, but he's never committed a foul in his life.

This reminds me of a VHS tape my dad has of Cambridge High School basketball (because he is a huge Geno Ford fan) and the announcers are two of the most ridiculous I've ever heard. And at one point during a game, there was a foul called against a Cambridge player and he starts yelling at the ref (which he does quite a bit even announcing the games) that it was a bad call and the player would "never foul anyone, he's a good kid". I am not making this up, we would be glad to show anyone who doesn't believe me. Gotta be one of the best lines I've ever heard from announcer.

That is quite a story. I've heard some homer broadcasters but this has to take the cake.
