Am I the only one who would truly like Wadley and Khari to "explore further opportunities better for their personal situations?" To have two of these leftovers from JC taking up scholarships I find it difficult to believe they will ever impact this program. I am disappointed we lost Jacobs because I think Saul Ball would have fit him. Wadley and Khari will never have an impact on this program. The only one left from JC is Tony..and Treg although he isn't really a JC guy. Let's clear up some schollies...and if Thomas doesn't get his act together I say we say goodbye to him as well. We have seen with Laster and Taylor that Saul can recruit late guys who make an impact.

You always want to kick guys who are battling injuries to the curb. It's the classy way to run a program.

Pretty brutal post. I never shy from critiquing one of OUr team players and hope they improve - but just out right post I hope they hit the road or get the boot?

If this is how you want the program that represents us as students or former students, then I hope you explore further opportunities better for your personal situation.

I wish you well in your future endeavors.

While there is much in the post to draw issue with, I believe even if Ethan had stuck it out at Ohio, his eligibility would've run out. He played minutes in 2010-2011 for us. That would have had his senior year as last year.

I was simply saying the 2 guys dont fit with Saul Ball. Khari is D.J. Wingfield in that his injury is hurting a scholly and he seemimgly isnt strong enough to stay healthy. And on numerous occasions people on this board have stated guys who dont fit and need to change scenery. I wasnt being cruel just realistic.

Bobcat 1998.........I agree with you. If they aren't going to improve or unable to get healthy they should move on. We graduate 3 and if these 2 leave then we should be able find 2 replacements at this stage in the recruiting process. We need another point guard for sure. By making these changes there will only be a few players left from the JC teams, 2 to be exact.

Here's Ethan Jacobs' career totals after two season with the Bobcats-

47 min, 8pts (3 for 11), 7reb, 6TOs, 9PF.

And your argument is that you wish we could have kept THIS after 2 seasons but you can tell after only 1.3 seasons that Wadley is a bust, and that after just 7 games as a freshman Harley is a bust, and you don't even need to see Thomas play a single minute to think he needs to be run off too? and of course someone from the class of '71 loves a post overflowing with such mindless negativity.

I am so grateful you're not part of the actual decision making process.

Student athletes, indeed. Don't contribute on the basketball court and you get the boot, but these guys are definitely students first and athletes second.

OHIO granted these guys a scholarship. IF they are holding up their end of the bargain, maintaining their classwork, doing what the coaches are asking of them, staying out of troubles off the court, we have NO right what-so-ever to push them out the door.

Nobody we recruit here comes with a guarantee that all will be happy with their on-court production. If they are playing by the rules and doing the things listed above, their scholarships should continue.

Some of you are clearly nuts. I wasn't saying that they should have their schollies taken from them. That is ludicrous. If they want to stay their four years more power to them for earning those schollies out of high school. I was just saying that If injuries and/or not fitting into the program hinders them then they would be better off somewhere else. People have said aloud on this message board that there are players they predict will leave because of not fitting. I was just stating two that I think do not fit.

Be sure not to trip on anything as you backpedal.

No backpedaling. Check my original post. I said it would be nice if they pursued other avenues. Can't wait to dissect your next ripping post Bob Odenkirk.

Maybe I misunderstood parts of your original post because it sure looks like you wanted them called in ...

Maybe I got lost in the syntax or misunderstood but it sure seems like you were in favor of seeing them gone.

Maybe I am wrong but you alluded to Tony being the only one left from JC. I was under the impression that Beaner came in under JC as well. not sure why Treg is not a JC guy I thought I remembered one of the new assts coming in under JC as his lead recruiter. I may be wrong though. Would need to got through the thread and look at dates. http://www.bobcatattack.com/messageboard/topic.asp?FromPa...

Can someone explain to me why wad is not getting more pt. I know there are some defensive issues but you can't tell me he can't give this team some decent minutes. He's raw but the kid has alot of potential.
