As for where it should be placed, I assume we need 2 of these suckers, and I'd put them in the lightest green seats way up behind the baskets. I assume we still can't hang anything. I'm still surprised that with today's technology there isn't a light enough board that could be hung. Purdue has had a scoreboard hanging for decades in the twin sister of the Convo. And it seems foolish to eliminate seating from the Convocation Center, which fills several times a year for... convocations! And on a good year, it fills once or twice for basketball games. But, I believe conventional wisdom right now is it cannot hang from the ceiling. So, up in the nose bleed seats it goes. And, lets be honest, the Convo does not fill up once or twice a year for basketball games. More like once every few years. (Even plenty of empty seats for the Gary Trent celebration "sellout".) And, its not going to sell out. We do not schedule teams that draw non-conference crowds. We recently had a sweet 16 team and there were plenty of empty seats every game that year and the following year. Losing a few hundred ain't no thing. But, hanging from the ceiling would be the best scenario. Can somebody hit a pull up jumper for me?.....
