This should be a win and it should not be close. Of course, anything can happen and even wins sometimes don't look pretty as we saw against APB.

Three things I would like to see improve:
1. Turnover prevention
2. Outside shooting
3. Post scoring

I've seen crazier things happen.

These three keys can be summarized into one: Better PG play on offense. Minimize turnovers and get the ball to right guy precisely when they can get off a high percentage shot. Our shot selection in the second half vs. Bonnie sucked.

Interesting as i listened to the post game . beaner addressed the long stretch and ball movement and stopped just short of saying "it sucked". I think the players see it.....what they do about it remains to be seen

never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Winter comes and asks how you spent your summer.....

Another thing to me that's key is to get the ball to Mo more often in places where he's going to be productive. Get the ball to him as he's making the cut, rather than 1 second after he's made it. Bump him from the 14ppg to 18-19ppg area, and improve defense, and we're on the way to things trending the right way.

It's going to be a tough game against Alcorn State. Finals week is a grueling gauntlet. Every class demands full attention and practice time is compromised by the altered class schedule. Students will for the most part be long gone, so it's up to the Old Zone to keep the Convo OUr hOUse.

The trip home for the OZoners will be a safe one as the threat of precipitation evaporated Wednesday. That weather pattern will remain in place as we die hards roll into town on Saturday. Cloud cover will eliminate the hazards a setting sun poses on the ride home for those who live to the west.

Gameday will be one of the highlights of the year for the young Bobcats. Hot chocolate and holiday cookies are on the house. The pretzels will have a little extra Bobcat love in them. And Santa himself will be on hand!

It hope things go better than the time I stood in for Santa at one of our functions. The usual Santa had been stricken with a severe case of gout and phones his regrets at a very late moment. I was then only person willing to fill in. He was a much jollier elf than myself, and I did not come close to filling the space required for the waistband or belt. The situation was solved with the creative use of a pillow. That worked until I sat on my Christmas throne, when the pillow became an uncomfortable and oddly placed lump upon my lap. The first three children became inconsolable when they were unable to balance. The fourth found a solid base around my knees, but was quickly ushered away when she wondered aloud why my white mustache and beard seemed to have a much darker base layer. The fifth child lost control of his bladder. Thus ended my visit with the kids, but the embarrassment hardly ended there. My pillow, rearranged and soggy, no longer served as a sufficient belly supplement. As I left the stage, my gait evolved from a walk to a waddle as my pants drooped, then to a sprint when they completely let go and I was left displaying my BVDs to an unprepared world.

There was a happy ending though, as I've not been asked to help with a Breakfast with Santa since.

I predict a Bobcat win and lava cake for everyone.

Typically a little "thumbs up" emoticon, but we do not appear to have that capability here. (insert sad face icon here)

this is at least 2 games now that finding a point spread is difficult. Are these opponents that bad?

Wasn't much ball movement today either. 8 assists - that's 62 for the first 6 games.

Tony Campbell has to find a way to play without fouling, we need him on the floor. He has been really looking good the last couple of games with solid double-doubles. I'd like to see fewer three attempts from him but he has made a couple.

But my goodness, that game was one tough watch.
