Just came across this by chance and really enjoyed it. If you haven't seen it, I hope you enjoy it:

I've seen it before, but it's never bad to see again. And again. I miss watching this guy play. I've never before seen anyone with that kind of vision. I frankly don't understand how he hasn't gotten another shot at an NBA team, or even a D-League squad.

never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I don't know, but perhaps DJ had an option - D-League or Europe and chose Europe. Wouldn't be out of the ordinary.

I heard after his first go-round in the Summer League, the Knicks offered him a roster spot but DJ turned it down because it was not guaranteed to last the season. Maybe a 10 day contract.

The D-League salary is pretty low so my guess is that he might be trying to build up his savings. Europe offers significantly higher salaries I believe.

Yep with dual citizenship DJ hit the mother lode. He is doing very well with LUCKY and son joining him. Only problem is he is playing near Siberia. Fly into Moscow and then 5 more hours to see a game. Worth it though.

There's one thing about basketball in Europe I don't understand. Players, GOOD ones, move from team to team every year it seems. Why is this?

His vision is so unique. Never seen anything like it.

I wish we could see him get a shot in the NBA. Selfishly, just because I want to see what he could do... His no-look passes would be insane to watch in the NBA.

I've seen crazier things happen.
