Women's softball and volleyball are definitely some bright spots this year considering the ups and downs with some of the other sports team. Nice job by the Messenger to make it the front page of the sports section. Although I doubt the resources are available in today's climate to send a reporter to the regional like they did in 1995. Strikes out 10 May 8: Throws a perfect game! 13 K's May 9: Goes the distance- a 13 inning shutout! 13 more K's, May 10: Wins MAC championship with another full game and another shutout. 10 more K's. And she homers.
