The athletic department should move the start time to coincide with the ending of the football game.

This will be the smallest team to visit the Convo since maybe that decimated post-Ronny Thompson Ball State team that played its 6'5" small forward at center. The Cougars play one guy taller than 6'6" and his 12 minutes at Minnesota were about three times his norm. Dwight, Clayton, and Wiz should eat.

I know the Gophers aren’t “world beaters” this year but Chicago State only lost to them by three (58-55). Minnesota also has decent size. Always a good idea to respect opponents in my opinion.

They're probably thinking the same thing.

They start 3 guards between 6'3" and 6'6"

Cardet might eat as well.

He's a 6'6" SG and just dropped 17 on Minnesota in a game they nearly won. 55-58.

4 star transfer from Stamford.

We are in a bit of an uptick with regards to recent performance. (Even factoring in Florida) per Bart Torvik’s site: https://www.barttorvik.com/team.php?team=Ohio&year=2023

Quite the roller coaster ride but, we have had two of our best performances in a row… Can we make it three?

Go Bobcats!

We went up about 30 spots on Sagarin as well, from the 160’s to the 130’s. Delaware dropped about 30 spots.

Would be kind of fun if they opened the arena early and showed it up on the jumbo tron.

I would love this. Anyone wanna call and ask?

Only difficulty is what happens when it is a tie game with 5 minutes to go and it is time to start the game and they have to turn it off...

Split screen? This is a great idea. Hopefully there wouldn’t be financial obstacles to overcome.

We really need to come back to the whole question of why the basketball game can't be moved an hour or 90 minutes to accommodate this. it'd be one thing if it were in an actual television slot, but espn3? Come on.

Then put the bowl on the big screen followed by the game at 8 or 830? That's actually an event I would travel for. Open the hardwood house at 2 or 3. Big missed opportunity here.

Definitely a missed opportunity.

They're always looking for way to market weekend games, well this could've been a big one. Come early, stay for the basketball game. I also would've traveled for this.

I would definitely have traveled too for such an arrangement. As it stands, I’m still not sure what we’re doing. Heck, I’d even be OK with, and supportive of, a per seat fee ($5-8?) for the athletics department to do it.

You see this, Marketing?!? You're missing out on 20, possibly 30 people here!

They can't even "afford" to pay a grad student to pop popcorn and serve soda in the Rohr Room before the basketball games :/. You all are reaching, for something neat like watching the football game before the basketball game to happen.

Not to mention, students not back 3/4 of staff in Arizona, who’s going to man all this?

Could've been 20+ if Ball wasn't so putrid from the foul line.

I won't be there and rare but due to travel to family NY Eve event down south. Per staff - It takes ONE person to run the popcorn machine and fill some bags and at most one other to take and fulfill requests for soda - what would those type folks even be doing in AZ - Why would they even be in AZ???? I would expect the same lameness at the Rohr Room we have seen all this year so far - Soda cans in ice bucket that were apparently put in the ice couple minutes before the Rohr Room opened (so maybe cool but not cold) - and bags of various commercial popcorn/chips etc to grab - Way less value vs prior Many years.....

Maybe this NIL is taking money from the OBC and they can’t afford such luxury anymore? Maybe someone should pen an email to the AD or President? Couldn’t hurt.

exactly. In this instance, it really doesn't take a village to at least have someone greet you Personally and offer me a cola. You don't even have to hang up my coat. Lousy. As for "The" Ohio Bobcat Football game not being on the big screen prior, is not only a swing and miss for fans, it is a hit to the gut to those who have been here for years. Can we not have OBC student athlete/ NIL shake my hand and welcome me to the Rohr Room? Forgive my ramblings.. BLEED GREEN. Thanks Franks Bait shop and Super Duper. I forgot Ray's Freeze
