This guy Jim Christian's last twitter account post was @TCUJimChristian on May 2 2012.....He just made a @BCJimChristian and posted TWICE. I'm not the smartest man in the world but coaches use twitter quite regularly and it's not the norm not to have an account nowadays. But for Jim to have never had an @OhioJimChristian speaks volumes IMO. Just look at the circumstances and if coaching was a relationship well good ole Jimmy C was very ashamed of his Ohio girlfriend.

Or maybe TCU and BC require or at least request him to have Twitter and Ohio didn't.

FYI - the Christian account was obviously set up by the BC administration. Look at who "he" is already following.

And its hilarious that a player just commented on JC not having an Ohio twitter account. Shows a little on what type of "Ohio" guy he really was they posted.

Hello mcfly - the BC account was not set up by him - but by the BC administration. Probably the same at TCU. As a player I don't care if my coach tweets. I'd rather he reach out to me via text anyway.

I highly doubt JC even knows how to Tweet. This is set up by some SID in the BC athletic department who will tweet on his behalf.

From what I heard from AD staffers, JC just wanted to coach basketball. He wasn't much into the "extra" stuff like social media, appearances, PR, etc. And I actually liked that about him.

IMO, Groce focused too much on these ancillary things. Not to the PJ Fleck extent, but still...I want my coaches to coach.

Can you even imagine Frank tweeting? Somehow I think Frank is a heck of a lot more focused on what goes on in the weight room, on the field, conditioning, workouts, etc. And JC may have also been an anti-social media type guy which I have no issue with.

I imagine if we really dig we can find more things to criticize JC about .... like what kind of shoes he wears, maybe what barber he goes to, ...... these past few days have been a riot reading some of the stuff posted here.

Seriously, I'm as upset with the way JC exited stage left as anyone, but I don't really think his lack of an Ohio Twitter account means anything, especially when it was pointed out that his BC account was created by an another administrator.

Jeff Boals has a Twitter Account FWIW. Had dinner with former Bobcat teammate Chad Estis last night.

Once again let me explain it again like speaking to 3 year old child. The fact that JC had a twitter account at TCU and then none at Ohio which has one of the BEST college sports social media platforms is interesting to say the least even the Asst's have accounts GTFOH. It all means something who knows what but one day in at BC and he has a new account and 2 personal messages for the BC faithful. LOL keep drinking that kool-aid!

But maybe you are right. Maybe the lack of a twitter account is an indication of lack of interest. Why don't you go down the hall and tell Mr. Schaus - oh wait he doesn't have one (nor does the department maintain one for him). Go higher my man, go higher. Dr. McDavis, we need to talk tweeter. OMG, you don't maintain one either.

Mr. Monk!! You have solved the great mystery. Schaus, McDavis, they are all in on this together. None of them care about Ohio. Or maybe they just don't tweet themselves and Schaus really didn't feel it necessary for some intern to maintain a twitter account on behalf the coach to let folks know when the Coach's Show was.
