I was reading a Marquette Message board urging Marquette to beat OHIO....I had to respond telling the Michigander who was posting that Marquette was not playing the BObcats....anxiously awaiting a response. never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience. My family is chalked full of Michigan fans and they looooooooooooooove that Brady Hoke has adopted the "Beat Ohio" persona. It makes me cringe every time one of them says it. Then, I like to confidently remind them that the real Ohio beat them in the NCAA Tournament in 2012. And shame is the most effective tool for getting them to drop their Ohio references. Ultimately though it will take us raising OUr profile to the point that they are readily mocked by anyone who witnesses one of the many uses of the word Ohio without the word State. I would say we've made significant progress on this front in the last 8-10 years. MY STATE. MY TEAM. The state name and from a big population state.
