Prime example of player/fan altercations getting a tad out of control.  It began when a player chucked the ball at another player after the final horn, and escalated badly from there when students rushed the floor.

It does raise the question about the storming the court again.  I've honestly never been bothered by it at all.  Something like this could change things quickly.  Although it would seem to me that the player throwing the ball at teh opponent is the one at fault here, not the students celebrating.  Not to say a couple of the court stormers helped...but it comes back to the same conversation about Marcus Smart a couple weeks ago.  Players can't respond to stuff from fans -- unless it's truly self defense -- and fans must be held accountable for saying provoking/inappropriate things to college kids that are players.

How did New Mexico State get stuck in that conference?  Utah Valley?  Grand Canyon?  Cal-Bakersfield?  That's the WAC now?  I had no idea.

Yeah, rushing the court probably needs to be over.

Can somebody hit a pull up jumper for me?.....

Grand Canyon is also the only for-profit college (ITT Tech, Brown-Mackie, etc.) in Division 1 basketball.
