Lobby work underway in Convo

Looks like the Convo lobby and HOF area is finally getting a refresh. Scaffolding has been set up and all plaques/photos removed. Also, someone told me the school is actively shopping naming rights to the Convo in order to help fund more substantial updates.

I will be somewhat surprised if a new name does not also include __________ Convocation Center.

Pay Day Loans Convocation Center??

Seriously...I think it's a good idea to raise funds with the naming rights. We'll see how it turns out.

Really glad to hear there is some updating/refurbishing going on in the Convo.

They could convince students to do the labor portion for free. It cannot cost that much to buy some paint.

For the cost of a Hoops Action ticket, I bet they could get a new grad to volunteer to do it. Frankly, I've said I'd come down to help in such an endeavor just because I'm tired of seeing it. Underline "help".

I've heard that the current renovations are primarily directed at the Hall of Fame.
