Finally had a chance to watch the game last night. Unlike most all star games most players looked like they were trying to play defense. D.J. could have had about 20 assists in the game if it weren't for the terrible shooting. He had about six or seven passes that only a handful of players would have even seen the opening. He really was the difference in the game. I actually think the West had better players but they didn't have a distributor or as Fred Hoiberg said "that sparkplug." When the game started D.J. wasn't even on the announcers radar. By games' end he was all they were talking about. Really good exposure for him. Zeke Marshall was a cypher. I doubt D.J. gets drafted but I'd love to see him have an opportunity to play in the Summer League in Vegas. I think even we don't fully appreciate his ability to create.
