PAC 10 is a really disappointing conference.

You might think they're terrible, but the PAC will probably get four teams in come March, if not five.

And we all know that it will be a sham.

Rooting for Akron is like cheering on the Taliban.

You think this year is bad? Last year was something to forget about. What did they get? One or two teams in?

This year they are a little bit better, but hopefully the conference tournament knocks a couple of them out and opens up some more space for mid-majors.

I think they'll only get two, maybe three in.  Az, Colo & UCLA are top 40 RPIs and that's usually the dropping point.  Oregon probably has to be the conference champ to get in.

The MWC has supplanted the Pac-12 as the major conference west of the Great Plains.  They had three top 25 teams at one point, and a fourth -- unbeaten (at the time) Wyoming -- hovering just outside.  They have four teams with top 25 RPIs -- NM (3), Colo St. (14). UNLV (23) & SDSU (24).

We will get by.
We will get by.
We will get by.
We will survive.

Oregon will get in. Having beaten Zona, and being ranked at one point in the top 10. If anything, i'm disappointed in what are normal powerhouses: Kentucky, Vanderbilt, UNC, Texas, and West Virginia. Also, there has been a bunch of low basketball games recently where the scores are like 25-23 going into halftime. Poor shooting, not good defense.

Right now, Final Four: Michigan, Duke, Indiana, and Miami. Yes, Miami.

I hope this about most "major" conference tournaments.  I truly wish they'd make a rule in the selection process for at-large that won't allow anyone in with a sub .500 conference record.  After last night there were plenty of comments about the Illini being "in", which I think would be a disgrace, no matter how much I'm rooting for Groce to succeed.
