. . . before the schedule has been announced? I'm sure others received an email today from the ticket office announcing that season tickets are currently on sale.

I did appreciate the following new slogan for the 2022-23 Bobcats - "New Kids on the Bricks led by Head Coach Jeff Boals."

I just paid for my season football tickets and my OBC membership. I'll wait a month or two to renew my basketball tickets. Kind of rushing the season, if you ask me.

You kidding? Cowtown A&M or whatever they are referred to here (Ohio A&M or Cowtown State), sends us our renewals in January of the season currently happen! Especially in post-covid economy, they are just trying to ensure the FY looks good. So collecting basketball revenue before July 1 makes the books look that much better. Can't blame em, unfortunately a lot of colleges are going to rob Peter to pay Paul

My problem isn't that we're selling tickets before the schedule is released, it's how late the schedule is always released... It's crazy that CFB releases OOC agreements years (decades!) in advance but with CBB it's always a down-to-the-wire thing. I guess it's not really hurting anything, it's just annoying for us crazed-fans. I need my fix!

I've seen crazier things happen.

I've worked in season ticket sales for an MLB team. ABC -> always be closing.

Never too early to talk about reserving your seats for next season. The low hanging fruit are the sales you can't miss.

The all-time absurdity for me was during the 1994-95 baseball strike, which cancelled the last two months of the '94 season, plus the playoffs and World Series. The Orioles (at the time considered to be one of the most fan-friendly franchises in MLB) sent a letter in November 1994 telling season ticket holders that they had to order and pay for their 1995 season tickets by 12/31/94 or face being dropped. At the time, the two sides were so far apart that there was no guarantee that there would be a '95 season or even how many games they would play if there was one. As it is, they lost more than 10% of their games because of the strike, but fans were still charged the full amount.

That is pretty crappy for sure. I believe refunds were given (at my former employer) b/c of Covid and STH's were given the option to bump their deposits towards the next season or could be refunded. This particular franchise claims to be the most cost affordable ticket in the MLB so I can respect that.
