I know the season-ticket package includes the DVD with highlights from last season, and I believe an audio CD of Russ's calls. I live in Cincinnati, so there's no way getting season tickets would be feasible, so I'll ask... Would anyone with those disks and burning capabilities be able to help me out? I'd be glad to send some cash to cover the cost of disks and postage. Feel free to private message me.

Thanks!

hmmm....What would KVK do?

I'd be happy to help out, but I'm not among the "technically savvy"!

To clarify, I believe you had to renew by the "early deadline" of August 31 to get the CD/DVD package.

I just have never understood why the athletic department doesn't put stuff like this on sale via the website or through the bookstore. It's a money-maker, plain and simple. It might be a drop in the bucket compared to the rest of the revenue streams, but what's the downside? Gets fans more engaged in the programs (we should do it for more than just basketball), serves as a nice recruiting tool and its relatively inexpensive.

We sold highlight videos of our football and basketball teams at my high school and made money off them. No reason why a college can't do it, right?

They should also be selling DVD's of "All In" and "Relentless".  I would be down to buy one of each!

Make it happen Evan Shaw!!

I dont think it's up to Evan. He makes them. Unless he doesn't want his intellectual property copied, which is understandable.

Perhaps because they want to use these things as a carrot to dangle for folks to buy season tickets, come to games, etc. I think it's a pretty savvy move, personally.

If you notice the recent trend regarding the athletic dept's advertising, promotions, sales calls, etc...the #1 goal is butts in the seats. This may come at the expense of the "long distance" fan sometimes, but it's hard to argue that the strategy isn't working.

And I'm not saying don't use these things as a carrot to increase sales.  By all means do that, but after the period of the sales hook is over for a couple months, then offer them for direct sale and make even more $ for the program/school!

Never really thought of it that way, which makes sense. And we know we've got a long way till we get a full load of season ticket holders in the Convo.

I live in Mason. Didn't stop me. Where you live has little to do with what you buy...

I will concede they are underutilized.

Not gonna lie, it would be awesome to get my hands on one of these, but it won't happen with me living in Atlanta. Time to move back to Athens!
