Wow, the timing is odd for this.  Shame because he looked like he was reviving the program.

Bacari would be a really good choice. Ready to make the jump.

never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Agree.  That program just can't get untracked.  Always something happening to keep it down.

You could be talking about Ball State or NIU, here...

Good choice for EMU, but not for Bacari. He can do better.

TOS' triumphant return to life on the road in the MAC is delayed.

Good news although I have to imagine he's undone a lot of the good will that he had built up for last year.  Not to mention he's made his recruiting job a little tougher. Kind of hard to convince a kid that you are in it for the long haul when you've got one foot out the door.

Exactly what I was thinking.  If I was EMU I would say get the hell out and try and find someone who wants to be there.

You're going to find a guy who wants to be at Eastern Michigan so badly he won't answer a phone call from the NBA?

If he was even going to be an assistant coach at the NBA level I could understand but a guy looking to be a scout for an NBA team would make me think twice.  They aren't going to fire him but nearly walking away after one year as a D1 coach is going to make his recruiting job a little tougher.
