This past weekend the Bobcat basketball department held a BB reunion for former players. I was there and now wish I had attended previous " parties " The Bobcats are in good hands with Jim C and his staff. They did a great job in hosting the party believe me, they have the support of all of us.

Auburn people say War Eagle-- Alabama people say Roll Tide-- All of us just say PROUD TO BE A BOBCAT

Jason Terry sat in front of us at Peden Saturday night but did not appear on the field with others.  He seemed surprised those guys were out there.  Wonder if he wasn't invited?

We were instructed to sit in the td club area...then told to head down toward the end of the qtr, but the scoreboard clock was blocked by the people standing on the hill...my wife happened to see some of the guys heading down and that's how I knew to go.  I spread the word to a few around me who also didn't know.

All in all, a great experience and happy to "come home".

I saw Jason sitting in the Basketball tent at Tail Great Park - also suprised he was not introduced on the field.

I made the last one and couldn't make this one. Does anyone have a roster of who attended? The last one only had two guys from the 70's, myself included.

Dave Jamerson, Paul Baron, Jason Terry, Kirk Lehman, Tom Corde, Mike Corde, Rick Scarberry, to name a few old timers!   Assistant coaches Bill Brown, Mike Wren, former assistant and head coach Billy Hahn were also on hand.  Lots of others, maybe list available from Sports Information Office.  Date was picked late in the process so attendance wasnt great, but promises to be an annual event and get bigger each year.

I bet some of those guys were SHOCKED at the size and noise of the football crowd.

I was kinda shocked that Billy Hahn was there! He sure got a lot of grief in his brief tenure at the helm (though Hunter, TOS, & Groce escapades put that brief era pretty buried in the past) - but he is a great guy, and was great in his role w/Nee - glad he was there.

Shout out to Chip Cunningham and Brenda White for doing alot of the leg work.   I had a great time.  Having the reunion during FB season frees up the current staff and players to participate.  Glad to see some faces who hadn't been back in Athens for a while.  Coach Christian and his staff were very hospitable.  Looking forward to 2012-13 season and next year's reunion.  Go Cats!!
