I am calling it now...Kent struggles to make .500 in the MAC for the first time in a very very long time.  In an odd way, I am kind of excited to see just how much above the pack Akron and Ohio are...I really hope both teams have very very few let downs and duke it out at the top all season long.  But if the last couple decades taught us anything, that is likely NOT how it will play out.

It definitely is setting up that way. The top two teams lose very little (Akron just a couple of role players in a rotation that was easily deep enough to replace them). But you're right. These things don't usually play out as expected. Ball State was supposed to be a slam dunk to win the West this past year and that didn't play out.
