Anyone seen the "March to the Arch" book that The Post has put out? Wondering if you think it's worth the money.

Without seeing it, I figure I'll probably buy it if it's the only book of its kind that comes out. But if the school is putting one out itself, or The Messenger is, those books might be of higher quality... (nothing against The Post -- I worked there when I was in school...)

Insights, anyone?

My guess is that it's a compilation of all the Posts articles during the season.  I'll order one.

Now that this book is out: Anyone gotten theirs yet? Still wondering if it's worth the $ (and shipping costs) to get one. Opinions?

I picked up the book last weekend.  It has game by game coverage for the entire season.  Great pics.  Very well put together!

Soft cover, 8 1/2 x 11 size

Some Posties were selling these outside of Baker Center the other day and I bought one.

They did a really good job on it ... there are lots of photos, letters from McDavis, Shaus and Gary Trent, a story on each game of the season and all the tournament games, feature stories on DJ and Stevie, Trent's jersey ceremony, DJ breaking the assist record, and Charlie Cole's retirement. It ends with a story about Groce leaving for Illinois. Nice wrapup of the whole season.

Received mine yesterday. Love the stories but think they should have included box scores with each game story and included the season statistics.  I guess I can just print those out and slide them in at the back.

I would give it a grade of "B".  Nice job overall, but I was disappointed in the lack of actual game photos for several of the away games.

I agree with that assessment, though as a former Postie, I'll be lenient with those college kids who likely pulled all-nighters to make this happen. I'm mostly just really glad this book exists... I'd be wishing for one if no one made one.

I got mine and like it. Nice work, Posties.

True...but when was the last time that ANY sort of publication was made about one of our teams? Pretty nice to have anything like this as a keepsake - glad to have ordered one.

Right.  It was a good effort and I'm enjoying reading through it.
