I gave up watching the NBA when Rex Chapman retired (just wasn't the same) so I need someone to help sort this out for me. How is Trey Burke an NBA guard but DJ isn't? Burke is a couple inches taller, which doesn't sound like a big deal, but it probably means more than you'd think in the NBA. Burke also shot a higher percentage this year as a freshman than Cooper has in any single season (although his percentages are still no better than average). But, in my opinion, there's no comparison in how much better Cooper makes his teammates than Burke does his. Much better vision and passing. And Cooper is better defensively. So I'm with you on that. I'd surely take Cooper over Burke. A guard that will play a lot more games and get a lot more attention than Burke next year. Then the following year, after everyone has forgot about Burke, Cooper will get selected higher than he would this year. How is Trey Burke an NBA guard.....? He's not.......going to play much, if at all, next year. Maybe in a few years....... Declaring for the draft doesn't make you an NBA guard. It just makes you eligible.  If he stays in the draft Burke will be in Europe next year which isn't really a bad living. More similar to Kellogg than DJ. DJ better work on his shot selection to ever have a chance to make it and put on about 15 lbs of muscle.
