What a hreat breaking loss tonight I really feel for you guys.  I am a Kent State fan as far as the MAC goes but I will always root for whoever makes the NCAA tournament from the MAC.  I didn't really think you guys had a chance to win tonight going in and especially when you got down 15 but then at the end of the game when you took a 57-53 lead and Cooper stole the ball I really believed you were going to win that game.  I wish so bad that half court shot would have gone down that would have been 1 of the greatest finishes in NCAA history.

A couple of plays really changed this game the time when you were up 57-54 with Barnes at the line he missed the FT and NC got the rebound and Barnes hit a 3 pointer to tie it at 57-57 that really hurt I thought.

Then when Cooper looked like he got foulded with 45 seconds left up 61-60 he didn't get back on defense allowing NC to get an open 3 to take the lead.

Walter was huge though making that shot to tie at 63 but the misss FT the only miss FT the entire game for Ohio of course that hurt that might have won the game but you can't blame him he was so huge all night.

I knew once it went to OT it was a tall task for Ohio.

A really sad ending I really wanted to see Ohio win,

You guys have a great team coming back next year right ?  I think everyone is coming back.  You will be tough to beat next year.

A great season for you guys though so congrats to a great year.

Thank you for the kind words and support.  You pretty much nailed the big moments in the game on the nose.   I also root for all mac teams in the tourney because it gives every school in the conference hope.  I remember cheering like crazy for Kent State back when they almost made the final 4.  I'm sure you'll never forget that tourney run just like Ohio fans will never forget this year.

Thanks for the kind words. I don't think ANYONE on our team has anything to feel bad about tonight. They all played out of their minds/bodies.

I also always root for the MAC team in post-season (non-MAC) tournament play...in principle excepting Fiami, but normally them too.

I always root for the MAC school in the NCAA. I remember Kents run to the final 8 and rooting like crazy for them. Ohio's run this year has the potential to really help the conferences argument that we deserve multiple bids.

Thanks, Kent fan. I've always admired the toughness your teams have played with. That was the thing that stuck out about our team this season. We have thatr toughness now. Looking forward to our games against you guys next season.
