I saw a piece on the Bobcats yesterday I think and one of the players was asked about whether Groce would be back next season.  The player (I think it was Nick) was very poised and responded that it's not something they were thinking about.  Could you imagine a player from O$U or Syracuse or even L'ville (with Pitino's history of moving to the NBA) being asked whether their coach might move on after a successful season?  I know that's life in the "mid-majors" but it's a tacky question to be asking while players are prepping for the Sweet 16.

I think it was Walt, or (equally likely) Walt was asked a similar question.

Speaking of which, Walt had an INCREDIBLE game tonight. ALL OF OUr guys did. SO PROUD.

It happens at power conference schools.

When Roy Williams was at Kansas, he got asked about the UNC job on a yearly basis once Dean Smith was nearing the end.

Tacky is too nice a work for it, Pataskala.  I think it's elite arrogant "bigsixism."  It also might be a manifestation of "MACophobia."  Those reporters need to be sent to sensitivity training classes before they are allowed to cover a team with lower than a tenth seed ever again.  [Don't respond to this post if your sarcasm quotation -- otherwise known as your SQ -- is lower than 80, which is in itself sarcasm.]

Bigsixism?  MACaphobia? You've been listening to Nick's dad too much.

By the way, now that we've had Mickey Tettleton described on a game show as Tyler's dad (instead of Tyler being Mickey's son), it's time to start the trend of referring to Clark as Nick's dad.
