With all due respect to the regulars here and the "diehard" fans like us, I always think the "fair-weather fans" argument is flawed.
If Ohio wins like it has, I expect more and more fans to support OU. If they didn't, we'd all wonder where those fans were and why we didn't get more on the bandwagon. Now that they have, I don't think it is fair to criticize them. Yes, many have come out of the woodwork, but it's the Sweet 16, we'd expect them too. Heck, some might even become more dedicated fans. Where I agree with you/what I dislike is when "newcomer" fans act like they've been supporting the team all along, when they've barely checked the scores or could name players beyond Cooper and Kellogg... ...I say our Bobcat Bandwagon should welcome anyone who wants to take the ride with us.
