Granted, I didn't hear the whole conversation because I've been flipping in between channels, but I'm fairly sure he just said something about the UNC guys who usually sit on the bench, that they would not get a scholarship to Ohio.

Did anyone else hear that too?

Maybe he's saying our scholarship players are better than their bench...

Or maybe it's just disrespect.

He meant it as a put down, but the way he said it ended up like it was a compliment.

he said something ridiculous after we beat USF, something along the lines of UNC not even having to try to beat us or something. Screw him.

Personally, I like Barkley, and if he threw an insult or two our way, I wouldn't get too worked up over it. His area of "expertise" is with the pro game and pro players...he even admitted through the coverage last weekend he just picked the bracket either by chalk or by who his friends were and where they played college ball.

TBS/TNT and their NBA analysts covering the college tourney is about as bad as when FOX and their NFL guys try and cover a BCS bowl game.

Personally, I like the different view the TBS/TNT guys provide.  During the selection show (thank God) there was less BS from Seth Davis, and more varied opinions.

Barkley manages to tick me off on a regular basis, then make it worse by often being right.

That said, "Inside the NBA" is often worth watching whether or not you like the NBA.

My first reaction was to be ticked off, then when I thought about what he actually said, I wasn't sure what he meant.

At any rate... I like Charles, but I never take him very seriously because he's a blowhard and I think even he knows that.

Perhaps he mistook us for the Charlotte Bobcats, being that he's an NBA "expert".
