I heard on the wall-to-wall NCAA tourney channel on my XMradio today as we were driving from Beaufort, S.C., to Millegedville, Ga., that "sources" said that Marshall was going to play tonight.  This was during a "news" at the top of the hour during a break in the regular morning show.  However, once the show began again the host said that he doubted that Marshall would play and that he never thought it was likely since hearing about the injury.  So everything was just as murky as before on this subject.  Personally, I can't believe the team doctor would give him the green light so soon after such delicate surgery.  BTW, on this show they had an interview with the Iowa State coach who said some nice things about Ohio and words to the effect that we shouldn't be overlooked.

Their "insider" bloggers and writers (e.g., their Arkleys and Troops) are all over sports radio today saying he is not going to play.  Say he has done nothing all week but stand on the sidelines talking to asst. coaches while holding his hand across his chest.

But no word from Roy - most thought there would be an announcement after the shoot around.   Doubt if they will announce it this late either way.

His Dad is reported tweeting he will play Sunday.

Seems odd to play in a pick up game less than a week after surgery
