And will he have an opportunity for a prolonged butt in the air viewing a replay at the scorers table
TV moment?

Any minute now he'll call a double technical foul. Any minute.

That seems a bit overboard. Unless, you want to join the herd that repeats opinions without actually looking at the job he does. Seems to me that he has put in his time and risen to the level of competence that gets him respect of fellow refs and assigners.

Going back 10 years to when he was in the Convocation Center he always seemed to manage the game well. Just my opinion. I know it flies in the face of message board fans looking to blame someone for their team losses but I think he is as good or better than most of them.

Respectfully,

Diehard fan

Appreciate your opinion and I respectfully disagree. I go
to games to watch players. I only know a ref by name if they stand out as being incredibly great or awful. I can name very few other refs. I know Bo by name. I’ll let you guess why?

Not much of a chance of him rising that high but Wymer, Scirotto and other familiar faces from the MAC have been quietly rising and working higher level games.

That's been the case with Wymer for several years now. Final Four games, etc.

Personally, Bo has always been cordial and friendly. I was lucky enough to know him on the way up as he was here in Indiana. Saw him in the parking lot at UIndy and he stopped and talked for about 10 minutes before he went in to officiate. Asked first who I was there to see and when I said "just watching hoops" he talked for a bit. Later when Tommy was in Athens he worked a game and was very professional nodding and avoiding much talk.

Pretty much always liked him CG and followed him because of his demeanor. I know he attracts fans attention but he is dedicated to getting it right. He admits when he is wrong and takes criticism from coaches and other officials both publicly and privately.

Listened to Dakich on a rant the other day on a podcast from this week where he went after the Indy Star newspaper for a story where he thought they did Bo wrong. I did not read the story but he did talk about the officials and what they had to do this year with daily testing and told Bos story. I like the guy. He is a hard working official that I think gets a bad rap from the Mob.

This was a good story Tribune (the real paper in CHicago :) ) about Larry and Bo and the current guru Gene Stearatore. https://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/college/ct-two-days... THose guys along with Higgins, Wymer and yes even TV Ted are all part of the top echelon of good stripes that have earned them.

I want them to have great games and set the standard. While most think they are in it for fame and money, I have known enough of them from jr high to college to know that you can't pay them enough to do what they do. The ones I have been fortunate to meet and to follow have been really good guys that really love the game and want to do right by it.

never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Winter comes and asks how you spent your summer.....

The game loves and rewards those who love and reward the game

I can listen to Steratore talk officiating for hours, the guy has a tremendous demeanor, is appreciative, sincere and as stand up a guy as there is.

I'm still trying to decide if I'm a diehard fan before I answer the OP's question.
