Great to see Dwight Wilson III is eligible!

For those in the know what's it gonna look like in the proverbial paint this season? DW joins BVP, obviously, in the rotation. I assume Nolan Foster get minutes too.

What about Towns, Granger and Miguel? I've been guilty of overestimating newbies sight unseen previously.

Thanks!

Wilson and BVP start. Foster and Miguel the immediate backups. Boals was remarkably high on Miguel's skill level in the Blue Ribbon preview. Towns vs. McMurray for the combo forward role.

Sounds right to me. I'm intrigued with Towns and how Boals will utilize him. Looks like Granger would be the odd man out this year.

I see McMurray and Granger at end of bench w/ 10, maybe 11, players in front of them.

Agreed. Thrilled with three straight to start year so we can see most of this roster in action right off the bat

I would only count on seeing McMurray during mop up duty. Too much talent on this roster for him to see meaningful minutes this season.

With Wilson being such a good rebounder, will it allow our guys to leak out a bit more and get some transition buckets? Love me some high flying dunks!

I would love to see an "All Airlines" high flyer lineup with Preston, McDay, Towns, BVP and Wilson.

Like McMurray and Granger, I'm not expecting a lot of minutes from Towns this season. However, I do believe he has a lot of upside.

From Jason Arkley's column today:

Wilson could also play some minutes as a traditional power forward in a bigger lineup for the Bobcats as Boals said he’s been encouraged by Foster’s development. And in a year where COVID-19 testing remains a constant, and necessary, threat to roster stability nationwide, depth will be important.

Foster has been dealing with a knee injury the couple of weeks, but has been recently cleared to return to practice.

“The jump that (Foster) made was phenomenal,” Boals said.

“I think it’ll kind of be by committee. Opportunity is going to be there at some point,” he added. “You got to be prepared for it …. Because of everything that’s happening with the virus.”
