Stumbled on this. Great site. Just type in a players name. I found the SOS column very interesting. We've had a pretty weak one lately. Our 94-95 SOS was unbelievable.

I've been looking at this site for years. Way more comprehensive than ESPN and others. The only thing better would be Ohio's own record book.

It is an amazing site. They do the same thing for football too. It's really strong.

In terms of the strength of schedule ... I find it fascinating the way they rate.

I would have sworn the 2012-13 schedule was one of the best Ohio had every played in non-conference. (And maybe it was ... maybe it's the MAC schedule that drags this number down) ....

But ...

at Memphis
at Oklahoma
at Robert Morris
St. Bonnie
Marshall
Portland
Richmond
Wofford
UNC-Wilmington
Hampton
Oakland
Winthrop
UMES
at UMass
at Belmont

To me that was a really, really good out-of-conference schedule. And I still contend, had Ohio taken care of business instead of going 9-6 in those games ... this was a schedule that could have earned an at-large bid. Go 13-2 in those games (including win at Oklahoma and/or at Memphis) ... PLUS go 14-2 and be MAC co-champs and lose in MAC title game (which both did happen). You're looking at 28-5 (coming off a Sweet 16) ... I think that would have warranted serious consideration.

Oh well .. it didn't happen.

But these are the type of schedules I wish Ohio would continue to play. PLEASE get rid of the non-D1s. I know that's the norm now. But I HATE them. But that 2012-13 home schedule was littered with a lot of decent games ... much better than Tennessee Tech, Campbell, Capital and Heidelberg. Gross. Purdue at home was awesome ... playing it in front of a dead crowd with students gone was not optimal.

I think we can probably count on Boals to schedule more like that once we have a good idea of where Ohio is headed as a program. I thought this year's schedule was pretty good for the young team we had; tougher than I expected. We should be getting better schedules in the near future...fingers crossed.

Where can you find a players class on their page? I don't see Frosh, Soph, JR, SR, etc listed in an easy to find place.

What a day at the Convo.....Wow!

Not easy but if you scroll down it lists the years they have played in college. Extrapolation is what you are left with.

Thought it was worth sharing in here another useful site. This one isn't for player stats, etc., but for the NET Rankings, SOS, RPI, etc. Warren Nolan's site does really good work.

Just took a look at the NET ratings. Holy Cow, U of Akron is 39th! Way ahead of any other MAC school. Say it ain't so, Joe!
