Thought this was an interesting graphic on the role the 3-point shot is playing in college and pro basketball.

The average NCAA team has been shooting more threes than the average NBA team since the line was created. But that gap has been narrowed and the race is on for 40% of shots coming from behind the arc: pic.twitter.com/F83ZPB2J87

40%, that is nutty. Further proof that I am right to obsess over the outside shooting ability of our players & recruits.

I'm really interested in what the Spurs are doing this year, trying to find a market inefficiency in mid-range shooters. I don't know if it was a conscious decision or that's what they're left with, so Pop will try to make it work.
