Really hope Jordy is gaining strength day by day. If not we will see a lot of "Jimmy G for Three" early. I believe that since he wasn't given an extension he is on the HOT seat. Between all the new faces and all the off season surgeries I will be pleasantly surprised if we are a .500 team. At .500 I doubt he will be given an extension. Unfortunately, the extension, or lack of, is bound to be the most talked about thing in this forum all season. I'll be really interested to see how Schaus handles this throughout the year. I'll also be really disappointed if he isn't asked about it by reporters. Instead, he might follow his one-time backcourt mate Simmons and go the grad-transfer route. Taylor, Carter, Block, Dartis and Kirk are a solid starting five. They have enough experience to play well in high pressure games. The bench is a question, but figure we have enough to have a solid rotation. MAC is balanced so its hard to see one team dominating the regular season. Buffalo is good, but they good the pressure and expectations. Ohio has had success in years where they were the underdog. This teams doesn't have a superstar player, but a balanced attack makes it have for teams to key on one guy. "Played" is a relative term. Regardless, not sure he got what he wanted out of the experience (improved chance at NBA/large pro contract).
