With the "spring transfer portal window" closed, can we / will we see any more departures?

Based on Parker's aggressive run-style, are we comfortable with Poulus taking over if he gets hurt? Will Hype Grand come in and make an instant impact?

We need DL and LB depth, big time. Hoping the portal works in our favor.

Seeing some of the transfer portal offers gives insight into some of the positions of concern or need. We just offered a RB and keep offering CBs / Safetys. I thought those were two positions of strength. Are we going to lose someone?

Does that mean only portal declarations are closed?

Can an already declared portal player commit during this period?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Inquiring minds are completely baffled by the portal!

I believe grad students can still enter the transfer portal at any time, though I think we see less of that in the G5 because mostly you would be transferring down - trying to get playing time - with a step up in comp after the spring games would be an insane strategy for your final year.

Isn't that exactly what Tyus did?

That is my understanding, but I could be wrong. As mentioned above, I think that only graduate students can still enter the portal, but those who are already in the portal can still be signed. A few teams still have some openings, and will still be signing a player or two, but I would think activity will slow down considerably, and most players who are still in the portal will be out of football next season.

Follow the courts and precedent, there is a portal “window”, it just doesn’t mean much of anything. But, you’d better be special to someone to enter it late, because about 50% in that thing are still homeless.

I wonder what CJ Harris' plans are at this point? LinkedIN?

I have no idea how, but when he entered from Cal he said he had two years remaining. Could take over for Parker as a super senior. Wouldn't be mad at that.
