in their smashing victory over UConn in the bowl game. Just wanted to let that dogfaced, rice-patty grunt who posts on here to know that we Navy guys stick together with our brothers and sisters in arms. That said, Go Navy, Beat Army!

In response, Blake Horvath should have been considered more seriously for the Heisman. And not sure what kind of Irish bog is a "rice patty".

Thanks, ye olde rice paddy, dogfaced grunt. I seem to be on a roll recently with weirdo typos. It's a personal disorder, or more accurately, defect, that I have that surfaces sometimes. If I slow down, I can often catch those things, but if I'm typing quickly I make those kind of mistakes all the time. The excellent proofreaders on BA, like yourself, usually point them out. I'm actually appreciative of that.

Thanks to both of you for your service. I was in Nam with OldKatz, but didn’t serve with you OCF.

I served aboard the USS Newport News (CA-148), the USS Norfolk (DL-1) and very briefly on the USS Sierra (AD-18) just before being discharged. That last one oldkatz will never let me forget! ;-) I never got to Vietnam, but the Newport News was sent there after I was ordered off that ship.
