Economic Jim Crow 2.0 disguised as a solution.
This Bill does nothing to protect the Athletes it�s only to limit their earning potential and bargaining leverage. Coaches , Corporations,Colleges and administrators can run up Unlimited BILLIONS in Profits nobody bats an eye and we all know why. Coaches can jump from Job to Job obtaining 100 Million dollar buy outs etc Lavish Gifts, Multiple Wives & Mistresses so let�s not pretend this fixes anything.

Going into this there was a revenue sharing cap for schools to pay the players of 21 million and they've added to that another 22.5 million for a retenion and 5 million for Title IX specific revenue sharing. This cap includes booster collectives but excludes true third party marketing deals for the players where there is no cap. The cap on revenue sharing to the players has been more than doubled and is cap is in line with P4 conference revenue distributions. The Big 12 paid out only 39.5 million in conference revenue last year.

It still has to go through the house. The one thing I do like is one free transfer. The whole point of college is to get an education. I don't see how one can obtain an education transferring schools 3, 4 or even 5 times.

What no one should want is 5th, 6th and sometimes 7th year players taking roster spots away from 18 year old kids.
