He is playing a lot. He looks ok. Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. He was drafted to put pressure on the QB, if he cannot do that, the Colts will move on. Basham got some reps and showed some things. He kept the edge, he put pressure on the QB and his overall pursuit was great. He dropped into coverage, when dropping into coverage on tight end, he should jam the TE. When in zone, he should chip and jam those who come in his zone within five yards of the line of scrimmage. If will make some QB’s move to the next read. Overall, Basham looked good, we will see what his coaches have to say during the week.
