Ragland went down during the 3rd Q of Saturday's game vs BG with an undisclosed lower body injury. He is to have an MRI and is expected to be out for a while.

Billy Bahl replaced him and apparently injured his non-throwing arm while diving for the fumble toward the end of the game.

I would think MIami wants to keep the ground game going against Kent this week as they had 200+ yards against BG. Ragland though had 78 yards so they may miss his ability to tuck and run as eneded.

Bahl's statline was 8-17-0 119 0 with a long pass of 31

Playing at Kent does't help as we all know that place can bring out the worst in a team.

Lost to Kent! Man were the BA pundits quick to assume Miami was going to be good. Come on man, it's Miami. At this point they may not even get to bowl eligibility.

Explains the loss to Kent State today. Miami is 2-5 overall and 1-2 in the MAC but the two losses to BG and Kent were not to conference leaders so technically not out of the East race. Next week they play Buffalo who is a lot better than Kent State taking both NIU and WMU to the wire and that may be enough to effectively finish their season.
