Its more what Ohio has to deal with on the MAC schedule at this point than how we look compared to the MAC East. Miami flattened CMU today. Toledo played #14 Miami Fl tough on the road. It was 24-16 Miami going into the 4th. Taking out EMU today means that we can probably wrap up the division by taking out Miami. If we drop Miami and Toledo I don't think we can win the MAC East because it will mean Miami finishes 6-2 or better most likely. The other 4 East teams are not showing much of anything so we could go 6-2 in MAC play this year and lose the division.

Most Memorable Bobcat Events Attended
2010 97-83 win over Georgetown in NCAA 1st round
2012 45-13 victory over ULM in the Independence Bowl
2015 34-3 drubbing of Miami @ Peden front of 25,086

We may have to go 7-1 with a win over Miami to lock it up this year. In a normal year 6-2 with a win over the second place team is plenty.

I have no real confidence that Miami loses to anyone on their MAC slate other than Ohio. They swap out our Toledo game with Ball State. Quite a favorable slate.

We need to pack Peden for the Miami game. This will be a season defining game assuming we take care of business against the other teams in the east.

Our run defense looks good. Our pass defense still need some work. Doesn't look to me like our offense is Good enough to take anyone for granted. Looks to me like a lot of dogfights this year.

Anyone who watched the UC-MU game can testify that with the deft coaching on the MU sidelines this Miami team is capable of losing to anyone.

We have to control what we can control. Get the 4th win this weekend and then come home for a great crowd on homecoming to get to number 5.

I really think that Miami is not as good as some of their close losses indicate.
