The new Box listing includes offensive and defensive stats like yards and tackles, but fails to mention people who got in the game.

It would be nice for example to see what true freshmen played. I know the 2 freshman offensive linemen played because they were mentioned for penalties.

Maybe someone knows a place where you can find this info.

And did Conrad really play DEcinstead of TE?

I thought I read that Conrad was being moved to DL.

I agree Doc that seeing a list of all players that got into the game should be part of the box score. Helps to know red shirt status and where newer players are on the depth chart.

Looking at the box score I see a tab labeled participation. It has a secondary list of those that did not participate.
It has to be hard to keep this straight with duplicate numbers.
I like this new box score format. A few wrinkles need iron out.

Yes, Conrad played DE for quite awhile, and made some nice plays. I know he caught the running back from behind on the long run, and also had what I recalled as a sack, but it's recorded as a half a tackle for loss. He also lost contain at least once. On the whole, I thought he played very well for being at a new spot.

The only Freshmen that I saw were Meservy, Kittrell, and Ross.

Names missing from the participation report that I would have expected to see are McKnight, Meyer, and Fernandez. Other than that, they pretty much played everyone who wasn't hurt, including a few that had previously been reported to be hurt.

I think McKnight and Meyer were on the sideline out of pads and uniform except for a jersey with their name.
