With the questions marks we have and the guys we lost to graduation and other reasons...the apparent conclusion for the coming season is not in our favor. Play on the field could prove me well wrong but I'm guessing that Solich and staff have a profound history of not outperforming reasonable expectations. Now you slam me for being a naysayer. But consider that we went 8-5 and followed that up by 8-6 with the latter being a team with many All-MAC performers. Where's the band?! WHERE"S THE BAND?! Per Monroe, Miami wins East. Per allen, "If Brad Ellis is a starting corner back next year, than we will have a losing season." Playing Ellis is "insanity." Nothing else need be said. There isn't much of an argument for better play unless an all conference QB was in the wings. 2017 could likely win more games though as easy as the schedule is. 2016 was going to be Akron's year but they failed. We defeated Toledo last year on the road and this year the games in Peden. Miami game is at home on a weeknight. Easily pull 9, 10, 11 wins next year counting a bowl win and/or MAC.
