Is jordan Thompson back?

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

Sorry, Troy's Thompson. Hoping Ohio shuts down Chunn's running Thompson would be
their second best weapon. Just my take on it.

ExCat21. at the risk of hijacking, what would be your take on Wes' idea of changing the offense at his point?

You never change an offense or defense before a bowl game. Especially when their is a 2-4 week delay after your last game. I like our unpredictable offense. Basically we go with what works that day. If we run strong then we pass less. We pass strong then we run less. I do not see them scoring 30 on our defense. It's an NFL defensive scheme. This OU team is one of the most competitive OU teams. Losses are in double-digits or less so we never get blown out. I will say this....if we get turnovers and do not capitalize on them...it will be a long game.

"Never" might be a bit strong. Often teams put in a wrinkle or two for a bowl, but I once saw a team come out for a bowl with an entirely new offense. That was the January 1, 1973 Orange Bowl, where Tom Osborne came up with an entirely new offense for the bowl, and totally confused Notre Dame. He moved his running back to the wing back spot, and his wingback (Johnny Rodgers) to the running back spot. Some plays were the same, but seemed different because very different people were running them, while other plays were entirely new.

The next season, the offense went back to the the normal offense, but some vestiges of the "orange bowl offense" continued to be a part of his offense for many years.

That's all I'm asking for is new wrinkles next year. To go to your question on another thread the spacing is fine but I would like to see more double teaming on the line with a TE blocking. Schemes that have the fullback run block to manage linebackers. Use the speed of the slot receiver in short routes around the edges.

Most Memorable Bobcat Events Attended
2010 97-83 win over Georgetown in NCAA 1st round
2012 45-13 victory over ULM in the Independence Bowl
2015 34-3 drubbing of Miami @ Peden front of 25,086
