On Wednesday, a bonus will be created with the Ohio Bobcat Club to ensure that our coaches will now have an incentive to win a conference title. Since it is quite apparent our staff is content to schedule to win 8 games and pretend to care about a conference title, I figured they need a little motivation to strive for more. Sorry to say it folks, but 7-8 wins every year will not cut it.

That said, I am opening this to all on here to donate, as I will have details on Thursday about how to go about doing so. If you have questions, PM me, otherwise this mediocre express needs to end, along with 48 years of no MACC.

Any questions?

Or you might contribute the $$$$ to tickets for kids.

Did that already but thanks though for attempting to tell me how to spend my money, especially when I do what I need to do for the athletic dept.

Next time, don't question my motives. When we haven't won in 48 years along with Solich not having an incentive to win more than 8 games, I don't want to hear your mediocrity talk. Every once in a blue moon win a conference title. Heck, I am willing to bet $200 in donations to the OBC that Eastern wins a MACC before we do. They have a QB and a team that is in far better shape than ours. So don't try to tell me what 12 years with Frank the Tank does for us.

We both made suggestions. Neither of us crossed into "telling" anyone what they needed to do with their money. Good luck with the bonus fund.

And let's be frank, the way we play now plus our students leaving at halftime, do you really think a kid would want to come in Ohio in ten years when all the students do is leave after 30 minutes? I'm sorry, I'd go to Toledo or Western before coming to Athens if I saw that pitiful of an environment along with our offense. Being honest here.

When we beat Pitt at home the fans rushed the field. We need to give them some excitement. I would go to Ohio if i were a recruit to be legendary and create a legacy. I would be a little perturbed by the mediocrity of the fan base and the some of the nerdy post. The coaches have to sell that as a product of a good education. See when Ohio State loses, their fans go crazy, they don't get grammar checked or warned. They expect to be great and won't settle for less and their players feed off of that. We need to play smart football and get better athletes and things will change.Toledo takes prop 48's and so does BGSU. Their coaches know how to sell their program. We just lost on a cornerback recruit to Miami. How? We beat them every year, we have a bad pass defense and we have openings. What are the coaches saying to these guys? We have to win in the living room. Walk into the kids living room with an IDP for their progression at Ohio. As much as we complained about coach Sano, all of our players had good workouts for the scouts. Ian Wells had the highest or second highest vertical of any other corner last year and was in the top ten in every category. Tell these players what you are going to do for them, get them talking to one another and close the deal.

It's always a good idea to write your post and then reflect on it before posting. Most of the time it would be better to delete it and not push the send button. Please see several examples above.
