I just saw on Twitter that Jarid Brown graduated and is transferring. With Smith and Reid graduating, and Belack's legal status uncertain, that leaves our top 4 WR next year as Cope (who was injured most of this season), Ball (who has looked good in his limited appearance), Andrew Meyer (who I don't remember getting significant playing time this year), and....one of the freshmen?

Was excited about Smith & Reid. Then equally excited about Ball & Belack. Now more excited about Odom, Harris, Cherry, Seymour & Bergdoll.

It's no big deal because we don't have a quarterback

Stop the presses! Bcat2 is totally, and only positive, about OHIO FOOTBALL

Let's try an experiment. If a post came up that said the team had, somehow, lost all its receivers, would Bcat2 (an individual who refuses to identify him or her self and who refuses to state his affiliation with the team and school) be anything but giddy at the news?

As of now the quarterbacks next year will be Rourke (a newly signed Juco who will enroll immediatel), Maxwell, Duckworth, the walkon, and Keszei (freshman recruit, expected to sign in January). It's also very possible that they will also add Morris, the post-graduate transfer from Michigan. There could be as many as six quarterbacks to choose from next year.

Papi White could be our leading receiver next year.

I'd be ecstatic if we were creative enough to get our biggest playmaker the ball that much.

I've seen crazier things happen.

Monroe, you can only have one broken record - whatever year it is without a championship. Identifying oneself is my "broken record, sir. Stealing that is like stealing Stairway to Heaven.

Wow, wasn't expecting any outgoing graduate transfers.

With Ball and White, we should have plenty of speed. Probably need to find a guy that can go over the middle and make the tough catches for first downs though.

Guess you are referring to Jarid Brown. Wishing him all the best. Do you know, is he transferring to play football elsewhere or beginning his life after football?

I've heard a lot of positives about Cameron Odom. Looking for big things from him next season.

I think Frank could put OCF out wide on one side and Alan S. out wide on the other side, and Bcat2 would hail our tandem as the best in the MAC, if not the entire country.

If during recruiting coach Dixon had given them the nod as "good enough" and coach Dixon had at least a year to work with them I would expect them to be "good enough." After all Monroe assures us anyone should be able to coach or be coached to a standard of excellence.

We need wide receivers, Reid started last year and averaged about a catch a game. If we did not have anybody that could beat him out, we will be in bad shape next year. Cope was injured and I hear good things about Odom as well. Ball did look open at times, but we need at least two or three to challenge our current group. We are losing Smith, Reid and probably Belack as well. I love coach Dixon, we have to give him a few more to work with.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

Agreed. He should average 12-15 touches a game. In reality, he probably gets 4-6 per game.

I believe this combo would only work if Monroe was at QB. After all, with his extensive knowledge of Xs and Os and keen understanding of defensive formations, he could audible each play into an aggressive, down-the-field, no-fear of turnover masterpiece of offensive brilliance.

And I'm sure Bcat2 would have his left coast nemesis Monroe as a serious candidate for the Heisman as long as he's wearing the Ohio green and white.

Yes, and it would still work if I was deceased or lost use of my arms---such is the faith that Bcat2 has in OHIO FOOTBALL and its coaching.

Sounds good except he has missed a lot of time with injuries. Don't think he would survive 12-15 touches per game. It might work if they were all 75 yard touchdown passes though.
