I know you didn't suggest this, but let me be the first to say I don't want Cheaty McSweatervest anywhere near Ohio.

I don't see that happening. I don't think he's a bad guy, though.

I was at Youngstown State game last Saturday night and it seemed from everything I heard he is quite happy bringing in a huge salary to do nothing more then raise money.

He's staying at YSU for at least another year: http://www.vindy.com/news/2016/dec/02/tressels-pact-exten... /

I can see how running a university in the beautiful Mahoning Valley can be preferable to having a job where your every decision is analyzed a thousand times in the media and in chat rooms by people who have never been in your shoes and who think that you're a bum if you don't beat every team by at least 30 points and don't win a national championship.

Jim Tressel would recruit much better, but he is an even worst play caller than Albin. Keep FS and get a new OC. FS and the staff need to turn it on in the living room and get us some TE's, corners and at least one more QB outside of Maxwell and Keszei. We also need one more burner at WR, we really missed Cope and Smith is leaving.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

About WR. I kind of like the speed Seymour, Harris and Odom bring to the party. Not sure where Cherry or Drake wind up.

Not once Troy Smith showed him you can win with a running QB. He started to be an excellent play caller when he had guys like Smith and Pryor who could run and throw. He also recruited Braxton Miller.

All I know is the guy won a ton of football games. And then made one HUGE mistake by not cooperating with the NCAA.

He was still very conservative with the play-calling. he can recruit and he can coach guys up. I am still wearyof his play-calling. He did open it it up a little bit with Smith and he has coach some Heisman candidates. I can't deny that.
