Here’s an amazing example of offensive futility. UConn’s offense has produced three (3) points in the last 14 quarters of football they have played. The drive charts look like this:
4 plays, punt 3 plays, punt 6 plays, missed FG 9 plays, punt 3 plays, punt 11 plays, TO on downs 6 plays, TO on downs 4 plays, TO on downs 3 plays, punt 3 plays, punt 13 plays, missed FG 9 plays, FG <-- The only points UConn has scored in a month 7 plays, TO on downs 3 plays, punt 9 plays, TO on downs 3 plays, punt 2 plays, fumble 4 plays, INT 7 plays, TO on downs 1 play, end of game 3 plays, punt 3 plays, punt 8 plays, missed FG 3 plays, punt 3 plays, punt 9 plays, punt 5 plays, punt 3 plays, punt 3 plays, punt 10 plays, TO on downs 3 plays, punt 9 plays, punt 4 plays, punt 8 plays, TO on downs 2 plays, INT 4 plays, punt 3 plays, punt 2 plays, INT returned for TD <-- since mid-October, opposing defenses have scored more points than UConn’s offense 3 plays, punt 4 plays, fumble 5 plays, INT
I don’t think even the darkest days of KnorrBall were that bad.
